ALL ABOUT THE RIVERVIEW SCHOOL

277Q – The Riverview School is a dedicated and supportive school serving students with diverse special needs. As a proud District 75 organization, we have been committed to excellence since opening our doors in 2013. Over the years, we have expanded from two sites to twelve across Queens, providing meaningful educational experiences for students from Kindergarten through age 22.

At the heart of our approach is the belief that every child, of all levels of functioning, have the potential to thrive when given the right opportunities. Our educators are deeply invested in exploring innovative teaching methods tailored to each student’s unique strengths and needs. With a team of highly skilled and compassionate professionals, we create a learning environment that fosters growth, confidence, and success.

Beyond academics, we prepare students for independent living and meaningful social experiences through community-based jobs and educational trips. We also place a strong emphasis on family engagement, recognizing the importance of collaboration between school and home. Through school events, regular PTA meetings, and parent training sessions, we strive to build strong partnerships with families, ensuring every student has the support they need to succeed.
