The Riverview School

P277Q is a school that serves students with a variety of special needs. We are a District 75 organization that opened in 2013.  Since opening our doors, we have grown from two sites to eleven sites throughout the borough of Queens. We service students from Kindergarten to 21 years of age. It is our belief that children of all levels of functioning have great potential to learn if we provide the appropriate path. We spend a great deal of time exploring different methods of teaching to meet the needs of each individual student. Our staff is comprised of a group of highly professional, motivated teachers who excel in working with our population. We provide students with community work jobs and trips as a means of preparing them for independent living and social experiences. Parent outreach is a high priority for our professional school community. School based events, regular PTA meetings and parent training sessions are just a few activities we sponsor as a means of building a joint relationship with the families of our students.
